Being a native to Jupiter, Florida I was constantly Immersed in nature. If you check out the Landscapes page you will see where my inspiration comes from. My success is a process that is constantly evolving. I started as a kid with a camera, challenging myself to see the ordinary in a different way. After graduating college, I pursued my dream to be an artist and started Jack Bates Photography. Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege to photograph over hundreds of weddings. My focus has always been to capture the beauty that we see with our own eyes. With the photography industry ever expanding as the technology becomes that good. I think it’s important to acknowledge that photography really starts with the eye & the connection you make with the subject. I’m always humbled by the fact that no matter how many times i’ve photographed a certain venue/ place there is always something new to learn and see. Over the years I have learned that the most epic shots are not about the post-processing and expensive equipment (although we update our gear every year), but it's about being ready, finding the best light and anticipating that split second of time. I can proudly say my team and I will give you 100% while remaining respectful and composed. Being experienced and ready for any conditions, we will make your wedding day as stress free as possible.
